The newest addition to the University System in Nevada is Nevada State College in Henderson Nevada, situated on nearly 600 acres in the foothills of the Las Vegas Valley is this new campus. Nevada State College is a growing addition to Nevada’s higher education system.
Coherent Design was honored to have been chosen to design the audiovisual technology systems for NSC’s first two dedicated education and administration buildings. Coherent Design worked closely with NSC to develop a master plan for the classroom technology systems. HDTV, LCD touch control of all major functions of the first 36 classrooms and leading edge web based lecture capture systems round out the leading edge classrooms. The facilities also include a 200 seat lecture hall with oversized HDTV projection system and similar high technology features of the classrooms. Multiple conference rooms, a large multipurpose banquet and meeting hall, and even a cadaver lab with HDTV production capabilities will take Nevada State College into the future.
